Unused Animal Babies

On the Every Little Something by Dave DVD, in the section The Art of Dave on the special features, RAB creator David C. Lovelace revealed that he had some unused animal babies as concept art, such as Xerus Baby (a squirrel animal baby), Hippo Baby, and Giraffe Baby. Dave said that he wanted RAB to originally be like Pokémon with tons of collectible characters, but only included Puppy, Cat, Hamster, Bunny and Donkey because he wanted to opt for quality instead of quantity. However, he joked that he got neither quality or quantity.
